A green grass that is normally eaten by all types of cattle and horses and most vegetarian animals. It is normally under a foot in height, and when dried, cut off, or dead... it turns a dark red color. It is smooth to touch and easily ripped from the group. It is rather unpalatable but can be eaten, though this is not widely eaten because of it's odd effects down throats. It is known to, at large portions; block off the airway of the throat, because it becomes an adhesive when mixed with saliva. |

Is it scratchy if people walk through it? What texture is it? |
