Ekhor: A small flowering plant, the leaves can be made into tea, the stalk has no known purpose, the Kentae, a small fruit, sprouts out of the top of the plant. The fruit; is widely eaten by cattle, but it's taste is bitter and the substance is hard and chewy. It is sometimes eaten as travel food, but holds a lack of vital nutrients. The tea gives energy, though taking large concentrations to make anything worthwhile.

Can you eat Kentae fruit? And do you boil the leaves in hot water to make the tea?

Thanks! So do they dry out the leaves to make the tea, or do they boil them fresh?

Most of the nutrients are found in the vascular system of the leaves, so they are best used when new. When dead and dry; the best thing to do would be to crush into a powder, because 'twould be hard to get anything out of dead leaves through boiling.
