Did you take some of those names from the Bible?

What do you mean by gods?

Which ones are male or female?

Interesting, interesting.

Thank 'ye for the questions Patrick!

Yes I did! I ran accross those names and loved them too much! I am normally completely origanal with the names but these were too cool!

I'm going to write up a history on whence and why the gods have come into being, along with what and where they are. I shall tell you when it is posted. Nowanddays I haven't found the time to write about anything much. But I'll get to that! :dieshappy:

I thought I had put the god/goddess thing on there... err; I shall update it via-editing. :dieshappy:

:salute: *Bows*

I hope you find some time to write soon!

Was Grond taken from Lord of the Rings?

I don't think so, I try to completely avoid other names in fantasy. I would never name something Erigorn or something like that... 'cause it would sound like Aragorn. Anywho; I think I translated the word rock into... hmm. Something like latin... some language. And then took that and formed it a bit to my liking.
Is the name Grond in LOTR? How did I miss that. What is it?

Yeah, it is the big thing they use to get into the gates of Gondor.

That was the battering ram which broke the gates of Minas Tirith, it was named after the Hammer of the Underworld, which Morgoth used.

Google Translate says it is Dutch for ground, was that what you were thinking of?

Yeah I think it was dutch. Hmm; battering ram. Yeah, I think I remember that. Hmm; d'ya'll think I should change it?

If you got it from Dutch I think you should leave it (unless you are trying to make an Independent world, but it seems you are not).

I would be glad to hear whatever you have about the gods, they sound interesting. What connection do they have with the things they are gods of?

The gods literally are everything. E.G; light is the physical form of the god Ziklag, water is the physical form of the god Ziph. The existence of knowledge is only there because of Kesil, the only reason we love is because we are partly Kabzeel.
