The Selentae have no official laws, if any Selentae have issue with another Selentae; they will stand before their monarch and hold trial. If the court finds the one being held trial guilty; the court will set forth punishment that coincides with the crime. The Selentae hardly ever enforce capital punishment. The usual penalty is being held in the vines of the Ekhor tree for a certain amount of time. (the time spent in the vines are fit to how much fault was in the crime. Another punishment is cutting the hair of the offender and branding his/her head. For minor crimes the criminal’s head is put in a stock and is publicly displayed there, up to three days.
